Food Science – Project Share

All teachers assigned to teach Food Science must participate in this Texas Education Agency (TEA)-approved training prior to teaching the course effective with the 2012-2013 school year.

The Food Science Teacher Professional Development course is designed to prepare educators to teach Food Science to high school students in Texas. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be aware of key issues related to food science and how to access additional resources for more in depth research, assistance, or training.

To receive the course access code, send a request to or contact your regional education service center (ESC).

There are 6 sections of Food Science. It is recommended that course sections be taken in order.
